Kara Shaffer is a proud Severna Park native with a deep-rooted passion for real estate, particularly in the picturesque Chesapeake Bay area. Her journey began alongside her builder father, where weekends on job sites ignited her love for homes and the thrill of fixer-uppers. These early experiences laid the groundwork for her dedication to client service and a keen eye for a home's potential and pitfalls.

After graduating from Severna Park High School, Kara pursued a B.A. in Humanities at Widener University. Real estate called to her soon after, leading to an exciting career that started in new home construction sales. Over the years, she has embraced various roles, from sales to purchasing with a major builder and eventually becoming a licensed real estate advisor in 2008.

Kara's forte is helping clients find their dream homes, and she strives to make the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, often with a touch of humor. Beyond real estate, her heart belongs to her family and friends. She loves unwinding with a good book, taking leisurely walks, or immersing herself in musical theatre. Life is a stage, and Kara is here to help clients find their spotlight in Maryland.
